Wood Sizzles -- Smokes Eagles for 5 Hits Thursday, September 20th, 2018 The scorebook looked great for Jim Wood, but it looked dismal for his team, the Sanford Stingrays. The 23-year-old center fielder had a great day at the plate with 5 hits, but his team went down to defeat. The Whitewater Eagles whipped them 8-5 today at The Aerie. Jim Wood singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
