Sapthotharan Top AHL Starter in August Saturday, September 1st, 2018 When Ashwini Sapthotharan takes the hill, he's a good bet to nail down the victory for the Bel Air Princes. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 5-0 mark and 1.48 ERA in 5 starts. In 30.1 innings, he fanned 42 and walked 8. That's why he was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the August Herrman League. To date this season, Sapthotharan has registered 14 starts, 8-4 won-lost mark, 2.89 ERA, 90.1 IP, 103 strikeouts and 25 walks. Opposing teams have hit .242 against him. |
