Houston's Ogawa Goes Ballistic with 6 Hits Monday, August 27th, 2018 On top of the Houston hit parade today was Hidehira Ogawa. He went to the plate 6 times and marched away with 6 hits, sparking the Sting to a 10-5 victory over the Bethesda Hornets. The sweet swinging left fielder told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." The skipper of the Hornets wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Hidehira Ogawa doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the year Ogawa has hit .343 with 2 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 30 runs. |
