Bad News for San Angelo, Shigochiyo Iida Hurt Monday, August 6th, 2018 It took the San Angelo team doctor a while to realize it, but center fielder Shigochiyo Iida won't simply play through a broken kneecap after he got hurt running the bases in today's Knights-Mustangs game. At first, it looked like Iida might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4-5 months. So far this year Iida is batting .247 with 3 home runs, 31 RBIs and 45 runs scored. |
