Jamison Stands Out, Choice for Best Pitcher Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 Richard Jamison hated to see July turn to August. And who could blame him? The 28-year-old hurler piled up 5 wins and no losses for the Stingrays last month and won the August Herrman League Pitcher of the Month award for his efforts. Jamison stymied opposing batters on 27 base hits and a .182 batting average. He rang up 43 strikeouts in 41.1 innings of work, surrendered 10 walks and fashioned a sparkling 2.18 ERA. On the season Jamison has a 5-1 record with a 2.78 ERA. |
