Shirai Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 Yasuhide Shirai continues to hit at a blistering pace. For 20 straight games he has had at least one hit. Shirai did it again today with 1 hit in the Baltimore triumph over Nichols. The Blue Claws defeated the Gnats 5-4 at Old Bay Park. Yasuhide Shirai grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. For the year Shirai has hit .280 with 5 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 49 runs. |
