Butler on Fire: 5-5 for Tempe Tuesday, July 17th, 2018 Tempe left fielder Lester Butler put on quite a show at Hipster Grounds with a big 5-hit day in the 11-3 victory over the Austin Hipsters. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 5 for 5.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Lester Butler singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Alain Malherbe in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Butler has hit .286 with 12 home runs, 58 RBIs and and scored 58 times. |
