Winter of Houston Player of the Week Monday, May 21st, 2018 What a week it was for Jim Winter! The Houston shortstop took August Herrman League Player of the Week honors after wearing out the pitchers with a .474 batting average in his recent games. Winter registered 9 hits in 19 at-bats as he cracked 3 home runs and drove in 11 runs. To date this season Winter is hitting .310 with 5 home runs. |
