Taizo Hasegawa Out for 4-5 Months Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 The Nichols Gnats will lose the services of starting pitcher Taizo Hasegawa after he sustained a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch in today's game against the San Angelo Mustangs. "I'll get through it," Hasegawa said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 4-5 months. For the year Hasegawa has a 0-1 record with a 12.34 ERA in 3 starts. |
