Eagles Rouanet Down with Injury
Sunday, July 30th, 2017
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Houston Sting, Eagles reliever Antoine Rouanet was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4 months with a torn back muscle. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Whitewater skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.

Crunching the numbers on Rouanet for the year, he has made 25 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and 7.06 ERA. In pitching 43.1 innings, he has totaled 51 strikeouts and 38 walks.
