Pirates Johnston Suffers Injury Friday, June 23rd, 2017 Mitch Johnston expressed his disappointment when he learned that shoulder inflammation would sideline him for 4-5 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Johnston. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the Sanford Stingrays. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. |
