Taylor Selected BOL's Best Pitcher Thursday, June 1st, 2017 May's top hurler was Evan Taylor of San Angelo. He shackled Buck O'Neil League hitters the entire month and claimed the Pitcher of the Month award with a sparkling 5-0 mark. The 22-year-old Taylor added 45 strikeouts in 40.2 innings and 7 walks to his season record and compiled a 1.11 ERA. Other clubs hit .126 against him. In 11 starts this year Taylor has fashioned a 5-0 record and a 1.90 ERA. |
