Red-Hot Rampage Reaps AHL Reward
Monday, April 24th, 2017
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Ron Peterson of the Bel Air Princes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Peterson rocked opposing pitching for a .409 average (9-22), 1 home run and 8 RBIs to come away with the award.
This year Peterson is hitting .298, produced 10 RBIs and 2 home runs, scored 11 times and gotten on base at a .414 rate.
