Pirates Manolo Rodríguez Sidelined Thursday, September 1st, 2016 Manolo Rodríguez of the Penzance Pirates was injured in today's game against Palm Beach and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is an arthritic elbow and he is expected to be out for up to 5 months. It happened while Rodríguez was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." This season Rodríguez has made no relief appearances with no saves. In 125 innings he has fanned 117 hitters and recorded 6 wins and 6 losses with a 3.89 ERA. |
