Blue Claws Pacheco Suffers 5-Game Suspension Tuesday, August 16th, 2016 Baltimore will not have the services of first baseman Juan Pacheco for several days. The league commissioner has suspended him for 5 games for arguing a third strike call. The altercation occurred in yesterday's contest with the San Angelo Mustangs and involved the home plate umpire. Riled up by being called out, Pacheco slightly shoved him after he was ejected. In baseball it is taboo to touch an umpire. In his season totals Pacheco has 6 home runs and a .208 batting average. |
