Owen Wins AHL Batter of the Month Monday, August 1st, 2016 Dan Owen put together a good July to earn the August Herrman League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Huntsville officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Sabercats left fielder posted a .337 batting average with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 21 runs scored. For the season Owen is batting .307 with 63 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 43 times and batted in 45. |
