Rudolf Brunskill Out of Action Friday, May 6th, 2016 Rudolf Brunskill at first refused to leave today's Cherry Hill-Dearborn game after he suffered a torn back muscle while colliding with a player at a base. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Dearborn shortstop said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Brunskill out of action for 4 months. In his season totals Brunskill has 2 home runs and a .302 batting average. |
