Week's #1 Player Honored by AHL Monday, September 14th, 2015 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Francisco Miranda of the Whitewater Eagles reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Miranda rocked opposing pitching for a .563 average (9-16), 2 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. In 92 games Miranda is hitting .238 this season with 80 hits, 6 home runs, 47 RBIs, 28 walks, .310 OBP and has scored 46 runs. |
