August Herrman League's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 24th, 2015 Ed Harris burst onto the August Herrman League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie shortstop for Bel Air garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .667 (6-9) with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs last week. In 70 games this season Harris has compiled a .305 batting average with 54 hits and 3 home runs.
