At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 5-1 mark and 3.08 ERA in 6 starts. In 38 innings, he fanned 38 and walked 16. That's why he was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Buck O'Neil League. To date this season, Waller has registered 21 starts, 13-6 won-lost mark, 3.15 ERA, 131.1 IP, 133 strikeouts and 62 walks. Opposing teams have hit .219 against him. |
