Bums Hurler Named AHL's #1 Starter Monday, June 1st, 2015 The premier pitcher this past month in the August Herrman League was Artie Morse of the Palm Beach Bums. He was one mighty tough pitcher, finishing May with a sensational 5-0 record and a 1.59 ERA. The Bums star made 5 starts and surrendered 20 hits in 34 innings. He struck out 36 and walked 6. So far this season, Morse has logged a 8-1 record with a 2.95 ERA. He has started 9 games, hurled 58 innings and registered 55 strikeouts and 14 walks. |
