Lane Earns May's Top Batter Prize in BOL Monday, June 1st, 2015 May's Batter of the Month has been chosen by the Buck O'Neil League. This month's trophy was awarded to the Baltimore third baseman, Kendrick Lane. He starred by hitting .340 with a .426 on-base percentage, totaled 36 hits in 106 at-bats, 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 23 runs scored. In 50 games this season Lane has compiled a .325 batting average with 64 hits and 10 home runs. He has also scored 42 times and knocked in 44 runs. |
