Garza Wins AHL Best Player Award Monday, May 18th, 2015 The Westside Road Warriors received word today that first baseman Juan Garza was selected August Herrman League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Garza took full advantage of all 34 plate appearances last week as he hit .379 with 11 hits, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 2 runs scored. For the year Garza is batting .287 with 37 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 18 times and driven in 24. |
