António Nevárez to Miss 12 Months Wednesday, May 6th, 2015 António Nevárez of the Huntsville Sabercats was injured in today's game against Palm Beach and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn rotator cuff and he is expected to be out for up to 12 months. It happened while Nevárez was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." This season Nevárez has fanned 21 in 31.2 innings and collected a 1-2 record with a 3.41 ERA. |
