McLernon Collects AHL Pitching Award Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 When Joe McLernon takes the hill, chances are good for a Bel Air victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 5-0 mark and 0.25 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 36.2 innings, fanned 42 and held others clubs to a .144 average. That's why the Princes star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the August Herrman League. So far in 33 appearances this season, McLernon has recorded 16 wins and sustained 7 losses. He has pitched 213.1 innings, yielded 145 hits, fanned 196 and has a 2.36 ERA. |
