Huntsville's Wooten Snaps up July Batting Award Friday, August 1st, 2014 Even though he is a newcomer to Single A, Carl Wooten put up some good numbers in July and earned the AHL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Huntsville's offensive leaders with a .488 average in 23 games. He also racked up 4 home runs, 13 RBIs, and 10 runs scored. Wooten is currently batting .463 with 4 home runs and 16 RBIs. |
