Ramírez Belts Bunch of Base Hits Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 Palm Beach third baseman Ramón Ramírez really lit up the Penzance Pirates with a 5-hit barrage today at Envoys Ballpark -- a performance that sparked the Bums to a 12-0 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Ramón Ramírez hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jorge Tovar in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Hitting .333 to date, Ramírez has 4 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 37 games. |
