Komatsu and Pierce Suspended 4 Games Wednesday, September 25th, 2013 Yesterday at The Pond Yoshihiro Komatsu and Jerry Pierce lost their tempers and now they will have a few days off to cool down. The league office has suspended Nichols's Yoshihiro Komatsu and San Angelo's Jerry Pierce for 4 games for fighting. The suspensions are scheduled to go into effect today. This year Komatsu is batting .104 with 1 home run. He has scored 11 runs and driven in 7. Currently Pierce has a 4-8 won-lost record in 17 starts with a 2.83 ERA. He also has 100 strikeouts in 114.2 innings. |
