Week's #1 Player Honored by AHL Monday, May 20th, 2013 The marquee name in the August Herrman League this week is Yoshihiro Inoue of the Houston Sting. The hot-hitting 21-year-old second baseman put up a .391 average and .440 on-base percentage, piling up 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the AHL Player of the Week honors. This season Inoue has 9 home runs and a .256 batting average. |
