Next year Kuniyoshi Hasegawa will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2019 Alexander Cartwright League Cy Young Award. Hasegawa made 35 starts this year, winning 19 and losing 10. He threw 216.2 innings, fanned 221, allowed 181 hits and 85 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .226 average as he logged an impressive 3.70 ERA. |
