Walker Blisters Wichita Saturday, July 28th, 2012 Artie Walker socked it to the Wolverines today at The Kennel. The 27-year-old Bulldogs second baseman rapped 5 hits in 5 at-bats to lead his club to a 14-1 win over Wichita. Artie Walker doubled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off José González in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Walker is hitting .417 this year with 3 home runs and 18 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .500, 9 walks and scored 15 times. |
