Deacons Campbell Strikes out 17 Storm Troopers Saturday, September 28th, 2019 The Murfreesboro Deacons were victorious over the San Antonio Storm Troopers today 7-2 at William Spade Park after getting an outstanding performance from starting pitcher Greg Campbell. The 25-year-old Campbell brought his top game to the mound, striking out 17 batters while allowing 1 hit and 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," the San Antonio manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters by swinging at everything, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." |
