Hurst Shackles Rock River Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 Brian Hurst of the Cincinnati Snaps just toyed with the Rock River Rats today, blanking them 5-0. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 3-hit shutout with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Hurst said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." One of his teammates said it was easy to play behind him today. "It was like he's just playing with the hitters and doing whatever he wanted to do." This year Hurst has compiled a 9-13 mark with a 5.70 ERA. |
