Carson City's Gonzáles Injured, Out of Lineup Sunday, September 15th, 2019 Earlier today, Carson City left fielder Alberto Gonzáles had to leave the game against Sandy Springs because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn back muscle and will miss 4-5 months of play. Gonzáles was hurt colliding with a player at a base and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Looking at his season stats, Gonzáles has compiled a .235 batting average and a .358 on-base percentage, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 23 runs. |
