Cincinnati's Bell Out 9 Months
Friday, September 6th, 2019
The Cincinnati Snaps learned that Ken Bell is likely to be out for 9 months after he injured himself colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Murfreesboro Deacons. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a concussion. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Cincinnati manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Ken is back in action."

In 52 games this season Bell has compiled a .236 batting average with 33 hits and no home runs. He has also scored 21 times and knocked in 13 runs.
