Franklin Blisters San Antonio Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 Next time the Storm Troopers might think twice about pitching to Mike Franklin. Today at The Clone Army the Rock River third baseman really burned San Antonio pitching, going 5-for-5 in the Rats 15-5 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Mike Franklin walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this year Franklin has hit .387 with 6 home runs, 45 RBIs and 55 runs scored. |
