ACL's Best Player Named Monday, September 2nd, 2019 When it came to hitting the baseball, Matt Wilkerson was in a class by himself in the Alexander Cartwright League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Silicon Valley tagged opposing pitchers for a .438 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 7 hits in 16 at-bats, 4 homers, 6 runs scored and 12 RBIs. In 126 games this season Wilkerson has batted at a .233 pace with 109 hits and 24 home runs. |
