Clark and Kikuchi Fight, Suspended 5 Games
Tuesday, August 20th, 2019
The fans at Cowboys Stadium saw it all yesterday in the Mustang-Rats game -- pushes, shoves, scuffles, a few tackles, a few swings, a few feeble punches -- and a baseball game, too. When the ruckus was over, only two players were sent to the showers by the umpire crew. Carson City's Ray Clark and Rock River's Hidemichi Kikuchi were ejected from the game.
Today the two players were suspended 5 games by the league commissioner.
In the current season, Clark has put up a .285 batting average with 139 hits, 15 home runs, 80 runs batted in and scored 74 runs.
So far this season, in 3 relief appearances Kikuchi has compiled an ERA of 4.41. He has pitched 149 innings, struck out 154, walked 45 and registered 1 save.
