Adams Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Monday, August 19th, 2019 The red-hot hitting Ryan Adams is riding high with a 25-consecutive-game hitting streak and is drawing a lot of attention at the ballpark and in the press. The 25-year-old Wichita first baseman continued the streak today at The Hive with 3 hits in 4 at-bats as the Wolverines got the best of the Madison Beehive 7-6. "It's great," one of his teammates said. "To be able to hit behind him and watch him, it's been fun. It's been fun and exciting to watch. Not only fans in Wichita, but baseball fans everywhere appreciate what is going on right now, and it has everyone on the edge of their seats wondering what he is going to do." Ryan Adams singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Phil Woodard in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Hugo Racine in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Adams is hitting .324 this year with 16 home runs and 81 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .429, 73 walks and scored 77 times. |
