White on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, July 15th, 2019 So far in his young career, Todd White has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Alexander Cartwright League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Newark Jail Birds right fielder hit at a torrid .538 clip as he collected 7 hits in 13 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Posting a .316 batting average to date, White has 13 home runs and 72 RBIs. |
