Ogawa and Yildizoglu Suspended 6 Games
Friday, June 28th, 2019
If there wasn't a history between Tomohiko Ogawa of Temple and Tulon Yildizoglu of Lake of the Isles, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 6 games as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Ogawa said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
In 53 games this year Ogawa has posted a .260 average and put up these numbers: 3 home runs, 32 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
Taking a look at his season stats for 2019, Yildizoglu has made 6 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark with a 6.75 ERA. In pitching 6.2 innings, he has totaled 10 strikeouts and 6 walks.
