5-Hit Blitz by O'Farrell Friday, June 28th, 2019 Steve O'Farrell really sizzled at the plate today. The West Coast left fielder blistered the Jacksonville Hellcats for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in his club's 16-10 defeat. "O'Farrell was too tough to get out today," the Hellcats skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win. That's the bottom line. We ain't playin' for stats." Steve O'Farrell struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. A look at his season totals shows O'Farrell with no home runs, .345 BA, .387 OBP, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. |
