White Week's #1 Player Monday, June 24th, 2019 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Todd White of the Newark Jail Birds reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. White rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (14-28), 2 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. White is batting at a .315 pace this season, picking up 96 hits in 305 at-bats with 10 home runs, 58 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
