Pérez Wins ACL Top Pitcher Honors Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Juan Pérez took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Alexander Cartwright League Pitcher of the Month award for May. The 21-year-old Wolves starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-1 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 30 batters in 42 innings and compiled a 1.29 ERA. For the season Pérez has logged 8 wins and 1 loss and struck out 73 batters in 82.1 innings while compiling a 0.77 ERA. |
