FFL's #1 Batter Announced Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Millard Hawkins put together a good May to earn the Ford Frick League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to San Antonio officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Storm Troopers right fielder posted a .340 batting average with 5 home runs, 20 RBIs and 27 runs scored. This year Hawkins is hitting .311 with 8 home runs and 32 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .425 clip and scored 45 runs. |
