ACL Star of the Week Picked Monday, April 29th, 2019 Juan Villanueva burst onto the Alexander Cartwright League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Newark garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 27-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .667 (8-12) with 4 home runs and 10 RBIs last week. This year Villanueva is batting .283 with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. |
