Eida Slaps 5 Hits Friday, April 26th, 2019 Kiyohisa Eida was unstoppable, but his club, the Outlaws, was not unbeatable. Despite his hitting heroics they lost to the Yorba Linda Mustangs 8-7. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Eida just shook his head after the game, saying to the BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins... not the most hits." Kiyohisa Eida struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. On the season, Eida is batting .550 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. He has played in 8 games. |
