League Rules Ogawa Out 3 Games Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 The league commissioner has zero tolerance when it comes to touching an umpire. That's the reason Tomohiko Ogawa of the Goers has been given a 3-game suspension. He apparently made too much contact with the home plate umpire while intensely questioning a called strike in a recent game at San Jose Municipal Stadium with the Silicon Valley Hackers. Ogawa said he would not appeal and would serve his suspension beginning today. For the season Ogawa has hit .500 with no home runs and 3 RBIs. He has played in 5 games and scored 5 times. |
