League KO's Defenders-Mustangs Players with 10-Game Suspensions
Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019
One player challenged the other with some angry words at the Defenders-Mustangs game at North Shore Park yesterday. There was some pushing and shoving -- then the dugouts emptied. There was a lot of scuffling, but no punches thrown. When order was finally restored and the dust settled, the umpires ejected West Coast's Rudolf Brunskill and Yorba Linda's Chris Terry.
Now both antagonists will get some time off, courtesy of the league commissioner. They were suspended 10 games for inappropriate and aggressive behavior.
For the season Brunskill has produced 18 hits in 73 at-bats for a .247 average with no home runs and gotten on base at a .349 clip.
