Guzmán Sizzles -- Smokes Outlaws for 5 Hits Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 Riverside third baseman Raúl Guzmán put on quite a show at Parliament Field with a big 5-hit day in the 6-4 victory over the Ottawa Outlaws. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 5 for 5.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Raúl Guzmán singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. Thus far this year Guzmán is hitting .413 with no home runs, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
